Bagaimana kita meresponi orang-orang yang berbicara tidak benar tentang hidupmu?
[Mazmur 1:1-3] Berbahagialah orang yang tidak berjalan menurut nasihat orang fasik, yang tidak berdiri di jalan orang berdosa, dan yang tidak duduk dalam kumpulan pencemooh, tetapi yang kesukaannya ialah Taurat TUHAN, dan yang merenungkan Taurat itu siang dan malam. Ia seperti pohon, yang ditanam di tepi aliran air, yang menghasilkan buahnya pada musimnya, dan yang tidak layu daunnya; apa saja yang diperbuatnya berhasil.
Sebagai anak Tuhan, kita bisa untuk tidak ikutan bergosip atau mengasihani diri dengan kisah tentang luka masa lalu. Setiap kita bisa mengalami kondisi tidak ideal atau bertemu orang yang toxic, tetapi kita punya pendirian firman agar perkataan mereka tidak menguasai dan mempengaruhi hidupmu. Jangan izinkan “kotoran” itu bersarang di hatimu. Sebab Allah setia dan karena itu Ia tidak akan membiarkan kamu dicobai melampaui kekuatanmu. Pada waktu kamu dicobai Ia akan memberikan kepadamu jalan ke luar, sehingga kamu dapat menanggungnya. Amin.

(Psalm 1:1-3) Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD;and in his law does he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of the water, that brings forth his fruit in his season;his leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he does shall prosper.
As children of God, we can avoid gossiping or feeling sorry for ourselves with stories of past hurts, Each of us can experience less than ideal condition or meet toxic people, but we have a stand in the word so that their word do not control and influence our lives. Do not allow that “dirt” to nest in your heart. Because God is faithful and therefore He will not let you be tempted beyond your strength. When you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. Amen.
