Kenapa hidup saya perlu ditebus? Kenapa harus ada penebusan? Tuhan menciptakan manusia di dalam kasih dan sayang, tetapi manusia menolak Dia, dan hidup dalam dosa dan pelanggaran. Manusia akhirnya jatuh dari kemuliaan Tuhan dan menjadi kepemilikan si jahat.
[Roma 3 : 23-24] Karena semua orang telah berbuat dosa dan telah kehilangan kemuliaan Allah, dan oleh kasih karunia telah dibenarkan dengan cuma-cuma karena penebusan dalam Kristus Yesus.
[Roma 6 : 26] Sebab upah dosa ialah maut; tetapi karunia Allah ialah hidup yang kekal dalam Kristus Yesus, Tuhan kita.
Sang penebus ini bukan hanya bayar harga, tetapi Dia menggantikan manusia yang seharusnya mati, hancur, terhilang, sehingga orang percaya memiliki hidup yang merdeka, bebas, dan menerima kemuliaan Tuhan. Ini bukan tentang punya agama, tetapi setiap orang butuh ditebus, butuh dikembalikan hidupnya. Tuhan Yesus satu-satunya pribadi yang sudah memberikan hidupnya untuk mati dan menebus hidup kita.
Sebagai orang yang sudah ditebus, hidupmu bukan kepemilikan diri sendiri tetapi kepemilikan Tuhan. Sehingga orang percaya tidak lagi hidup untuk diri sendiri, tetapi untuk menggenapi maksud dan kehendak Tuhan. Hati Tuhan adalah manusia, hati Tuhan adalah bangsa-bangsa bisa mengenal Dia.

Why does my life need to be redeemed? Why must there be redemption? God created human beings in love and affection, but men rejected Him, and lived in sin and transgression. Man ultimately fell from the glory of God and became the possession of the evil one.
(Romans 3:23-24) For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
(Romans 6:26) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
This redeemer not only paid the price, but He replaced humans who should have died, been destroyed, lost, so that believers have a life of freedom, liberty, and receive the glory of God. This is not about having a religion, but everyone needs to be redeemed, needs their life restored. The Lord Jesus is the only person who has given His life to die and redeem our lives.
As a redeemed person, your life is no longer yours, but God’s. So that believers no longer live for themselves, but to fulfill God’s purpose and will. God’s heart is human. God’s heart wants every nation to know Him.
